If you visit 37202 90th St E in Littlerock, CA today, it looks entirely different than in the early 1980s when I was first introduced to ZZ Top music.

This diorama has been years in research, design and building. It was the Gimme All Your Lovin' video that inspired me. I still love their sound!
While research continued, I started construction on the 1965 Ford being repaired by the mechanic (played by Peter Tramm who took that wild ride).
The Ford Galaxy 500 is now complete. Building construction started with the windows and doors. All built to scale.
This 1964 Ford F-Series was a modified 1970 Ford Pickup kit because no 1960s Ford kits were available or ever made.
Extra detail was done on the engine for the 1933 Ford Coupe. Original photo on left; model engine on right.
The famous 33 Ford 3-window coupe is complete. I believe I read that this or one very similar was a daily driver of Billy Gibbons.
Progress continues with the window and door details. I have viewed video frames many times to get the detail as accurate as possible.
Another view of the station as more building detail and accessories are added. The majority of all this scene I hand built but the research was the hard part.
This is a view that many remember from the video when the coupe stops and the women (Jeana Tomasino, Kymberly Herrin, Daniele Arnaud) get out.
Here we see the guys that made it all possible, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. Thanks guys!
Research provided more interesting items. The CocaCola machine model was only made for 2 years.
The tire changer was fabricated from photos of an old 1950s Coats manual tire changer.
Here you can see what was written on those homemade signs that were visible behind the band as they performed.
One of the interesting facts about this service station was it appeared in 1 movie and 3 music videos. Do you know them?
This is an overhead view that wasn't shown in the video but provides a realistic idea of what it was like back then.
Engine bay in the coupe.
Famous key chain.
Research still continues today. Does anyone know the actors name who played the old man?
